This policy explains how Otter Cleaners LLC ("Otter Cleaners", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through ottercleaners.com and when you contact us by phone, text or email.
What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, business name, phone number, email, city, how often you'd like cleaning, and anything you write in the message box.
- Job applications: your name, phone, email, preferred work area, experience, transportation and availability, and anything you write in the message box.
- Calls, texts and emails: whatever you choose to share with us.
- Customers: information needed to provide service, such as access instructions, key and alarm details, billing contacts and service notes.
We don't ask for payment card numbers, government ID numbers or health information through this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, schedule a walkthrough and send a quote.
- To provide, schedule and bill for cleaning services.
- To review job applications and contact applicants.
- To keep records required for our business, tax and insurance purposes.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who helps us
We use a few service providers to run the business. They only receive what they need to do their job:
- FormSubmit delivers the forms on this website to our email inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and routes email sent to our addresses.
- Our email, phone, accounting and scheduling providers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and performance.
How long we keep it
Quote requests and applications that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Customer records are kept for as long as you're a customer and afterward as long as needed for tax, legal and insurance purposes.
How we protect it
We limit access to people who need it, keep key and alarm details separate from customer names and addresses, and use reputable providers with their own security programs. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information through our forms.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Nevada residents can also ask us not to sell their information; we don't sell it, but you're welcome to send that request. Email ben@ottercleaners.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
